Penampilan mereka disemangati oleh satu slogan yang selalu mereka teriakkan bersama, Mana Honor Kita? Selain itu, bintang muda Mario Irwinsyah dan Rini Yulianti menjadi cerita sentral film ini yang dikemas seperti cerita perjodohan Siti Nurbaya.
Alkisah, Torro seorang juragan di Desa Cibebek dan memiliki lahan luas di beberapa desa, termasuk desa Cibulu. Seperti kehidupan sehari-hari, masalah muncul dengan penggambaran yang menyedihkan, mengharukan, dan juga kekocakan tingkah warganya. Bak melihat dunia nyata, penggambaran karakter pemeran di dalamnya seperti melihat kehidupan nyata.

Warga Cibebek digambarkan dengan sifat optimis, jujur , berani membela yang benar, dan dengan cara cerdas mereka dapat membatasi keinginan. Ada juga cerita tentang niat orang kaya yang telah termakan oleh napsu, karena mereka percaya bahwa putus asa bukanlah pilihan.

Meski demikian, tidak munculnya tokoh Komeng di dalam cerita ini sedikit membuat alur cerita menjadi garing. Meskipun tingkah laku trio Bajaj dan Valen, serta Tessa Kaunang juga kadang mengocok perut penonton.

Kejutan datang saat empat personel Gigi tampil dengan gaya yang hancurnya. Meskipun vokalis Armand Maulana awalnya tidak yakin bisa berakting dalam film ini, namun perannya sebagai Armin, vokalis Band Gusi membuatnya tampil apa adanya.

Film yang menonjolkan tema cerita kisah cinta Siti Nurbaya ini, sempat membuat alur cerita terasa monoton. Meskipun akting para artis senior seperti Didi Petet selalu mengundang gelak tawa.

Kisah cerita drama kehidupan sosial kembali diangkat oleh sang sutradara ternama, Hanung Bramantyo. Alur cerita dibuatnya berdasarkan perjalanan hidup temannya yang kini sukses, meskipun awalnya dia bukanlah siapa-siapa. Cerita ini dituangkannya Hanung dalam sebuah film berjudul Menebus Impian.

Cerita ini berawal dari seorang anak gadis bernama Nur Kemala (Acha Septriasa) yang hidup bersama ibunda tercinta, Sekar (Ayu Diah Pasha) yang bekerja sebagai buruh cuci pakaian. Keduanya harus menjalani kehidupan yang ada di depan matanya. Maklum saja, baik Sekar dan Nur Kemala mempunyai pandangan yang berbeda.

Sekar sang ibunda menginginkan anak semata wayangnya bisa mendapatkan gelar sarjana agar kelak kehidupannya bisa sukses bukan mengikuti kehidupan sang bundanya. Sedangkan Nur lebih menginginkan mencari pekerjaan guna membantu sang bunda.

Film berdurasi sekira 120 menit ini memperlihatkan adanya situasi nyata atau pun alamiah layaknya kehidupan sehari-hari. Ditambah daerah perkampungan kumuh benar-benar memperlihatkan cerminan kehidupan sosial yang ada selama ini.

Usaha Nur untuk mencari pekerjaan pun benar-benar dilakukannya, apalagi saat dirinya mengetahui kalau uang kuliahnya mulai beranjak naik. Tak ingin manambah pikiran ibunya, maka perihal uang bayaran tersebut pun ditutupi Nur.

Nur Kemala tidak hidup sendirian. Dia mempunyai dua sahabat yaitu Robin (Haykal Kamil) dan Adul (Joshua Suherman), kedua sahabatnya hanyalah penjaga warnet. Karena keinginan untuk bekerja sangat kuat, Nur pun meminta kepada kedua sahabat tersebut agar dicarikan pekerjaan.

Meskipun dalam kisah tersebut hanya memperlihatkan situasi yang tidak berbeda dengan kehidupan sebenarnya, namun cerita ini sangat enak ditonton. Sebab situasi tersebut tertutup dengan alur cerita yang menarik dibuat oleh suami Zaskia Mecca itu.

Demi meluangkan pemikirannya, Nur biasa nongkrong di tempat Pak Madrim (H, Djaja Mihardja) dan Ibu Madrim (Cici Tegal), tanpa disengaja Nur berkenalan dengan Dian Septiadji (Fedi Nuril).

Perkenalan tersebut bermula ketika Dian sedang menawarkan barang kepada Pak Madrim, bisa dibilang pekerjaan Dian adalah seorang MLM (Multi Level Marketing). Awalnya, Nur sangat tidak tertarik dengan MLM, maklum sosok Nur di sini adalah sosok yang keras, tetap pada pendirian, dan sinis.

Sok jual mahal, sifat keras Nur akhirnya luluh juga menjadi pekerja MLM. Ini semua diambilnya karena secara terus menerus Nur melihat sang ibunda yang bekerja sebagai buruh cuci selalu menggunakan kedua tangannya untuk mencuci karena mesin cucinya rusak, sehingga membuat Sekar lupa akan pentingnya kesehatan.

Ketabahan Dian dalam meyakinkan Nur Kemala untuk menjadi seorang MLM, Dian rela menemani serta mengajarinya bagaimana menjalankan pekerjaan MLM tersebut. Setahap demi setahap, langkah demi langkah, dijalankannya pekerjaan tersebut oleh Nur.

Namun apa daya, namanya juga pemula tidak ada hasil yang digapainya malah tolakan demi tolakan didapatnya dari para kostumer. Di sini, karakter yang diperankan Acha dan Fedi benar-benar memperlihatkan sisi tolak belakang kedua insan ini seperti kesuksesan yang acap diterima Dian (Fedi Nuril) dan ketersiksaan yang selalu didera Nur (Acha Septriasa).

Perlahan tapi pasti, Nur berhasil menemukan pola bagaimana bekerja sebagai MLM. Namun di tengah giatnya bekerja, cobaan pun datang menerpa dirinya. Sekar sang Ibunda harus dirawat di rumah sakit karena menderita penyakit tumor di kepala. Tak cukup itu, sang Ibu pun harus dioperasi sehingga membutuhkan biaya yang tidak sedikit.

Namanya saja sebuah Film, tidak akan indah jika kenikmatan dalam menonton berhenti di situ saja. Sang sutradara pun sengaja membuat para penonton penasaran dengan ending ceritanya.

Seperti apakah Film Menebus Impian ini pada akhirnya? Apakah Nur Kemala meneruskan kuliahnya yang sempat berhenti atau dirinya lebih mementingkan pekerjaan setelah ibundanya dirawat?

The interface is nearly unchanged from the last version, and generally it's easy to use. From the main window, though, you must double-click to get further information on any feature, whether virus scanning, LinkScanner settings, or updating. Streamlining this to one click would be helpful.

A scheduling utility automates both scans and updates, while the upgrade ad at the screen's bottom can be easily hidden using the Hide Notification button. When starting a scan, a slider makes it easy to jump between Slow, Automatic, and Fast scans: the faster the scan, the less comprehensive it is, so users should take advantage of the scan optimization that is recommended during installation to speed up that first scan. A progress meter for regular scans would've been useful, though. Should a virus create serious problems, AVG creates a rescue disk to scan your computer in MS-DOS mode.

The LinkScanner feature protects you from third-party code exploits before they load in your browser and for ranking search results. Annoyingly, when you install its optional toolbar, it commandeers your new-tab page, decidedly inappropriate behavior. The program doesn't obviously tax your system when scanning or when running in the background, although CNET Labs determined that it will significantly slow down your system's boot time, and slightly delay shutting down. AVG also detected some image files as threats, when two other scans decided they weren't--we decided these were false positives. AVG might not be the fastest or the most effective free security option, but it still gets the job done and you're better off with it.

Version 9.0 runs and installs faster, delivers new anti-phishing detection techniques and introduces the AVG LinkScanner to proactively screen the Web pages you haven't even visited yet. For added peace of mind, you also get safety ratings for your Google, Yahoo! and Bing/MSN search results.
